Tommy Johnson

Interim Pastor

Tommy has served as the Regional Campus Minister at Western Kentucky University since 2004. He also serves as the Campus Ministry Group Leader. He previously served as the International Student Campus Minister for the KBC. Tommy is the author of Journey of Discipleship: Becoming a Disciple of Jesus. He holds an M. Div. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and a MA in counseling from WKU. He and his wife Angela, who is from Brazil, have two children, Benjamin and Gabriela. Tommy is a sports enthusiast and especially loves basketball.

Ken Vinson

Pastor of Worship

Ken Vinson began serving as our Music Pastor in June, 2014. Ken and his family have been residents and members of Scottsville Baptist Church for many years. He and his wife, Anne have three daughters and seven grandchildren. He is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ken has served churches in Kentucky and Alabama in full-time and bi-vocational positions. Ken’s goals are to help everyone understand the incredible impact that music has on our times of worship and to provide folks with God-given talent the opportunity to use that talent to glorify our Savior.

Morgan Smith

Pastor of Youth & Discipleship

Morgan is originally from a small, rural town in the southwestern part of Virginia. Shortly after graduating from Virginia Tech, He and his wife Maryanna moved to the Louisville, Kentucky, area to begin the Master of Divinity program at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. The Smiths followed the Lord to Scottsville, Kentucky, where they reside with their two sons, Micah & Liam.

John Mark Williams

Pastor of Missions & Evangelism

John Mark was born and raised in Scottsville/Allen County, attended high school here, has been married to his wife, Jean Anne, for 33 years and they live on the Williams family farm.  John Mark and Jean Anne have three children and  three grandchildren. He has received degrees from Bowling Green Technical College, Western Kentucky University and most recently he received a Certificate of Bivocational Ministry from Clear Creek Bible College. He has pastored two small churches in the local area before coming to SBC. 

Jean Anne Williams

Children's Director

Jean Anne was born and raised in Scottsville/Allen County.  She met John Mark Williams her senior year of high school and they were married a year later. They have three children.  She received a degree in elementary education from WKU. After teaching kindergarten for 27 years in Allen County, she retired to care for their three grandchildren.  SBC had been their home for many years. Jean Anne is blessed to be serving in the children's department. 

Tinker Calvert
