Leadership

A native of Louisville, Dr. Shaun Watson began his ministry at Scottsville Baptist Church on March 3, 2025. He came to Scottsville Baptist after serving as Senior Pastor at Green Acres Baptist Church in Warner Robbins, Georgia, for five years. "Pastor Shaun" is a graduate of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and the Newburgh Theological Seminary. He has moved to Scottsville with his wife, Laura, and two sons, Toby and Taylor.

Jackson comes to us from Owensboro, Kentucky. Born and raised in Tennessee, he has been involved in church life and worship from a young age. He has served in church leadership since 2016. He is passionate about leading Christ-centered worship that encourages congregational participation and spiritual growth. He is married to his wife, Kaitlin, and together they have two children, Lucas and Maddie. Jackson holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Martin Methodist College and plans to begin pursuing a Master’s degree at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in the fall of 2026.

Annette Lockhart has served as our Financial Administrator since January, 2024. After residing in North Alabama for most of her life, she now calls Scottsville home. Annette and her husband, Travis, enjoy spending time with family, and Annette delights in being Nana to their five grandchildren.
