ABOUT OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to provide God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Since 1993, more than 178 million children in more than 150 countries have received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox. The project delivers not only the joy of what, for many kids, is their first gift ever, but also gives them a tangible expression of God’s love.

“Every box is an opportunity to reach a child with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”
—Franklin Graham
President, Samaritan’s Purse

More than 11.2 million boys and girls have made a decision to follow Christ.

OUR SBC O.C.C. GOAL

Women’s Christian Fellowship (WCF) plans to shop and prepare 200 boxes this year for Operation Christmas Child.  If you would like to make a contribution for the shopping trip, please make your check payable to the church and write OCC on the “For” line.

We also encourage you to make plans to pack a shoebox.  If you are unable to shop, please consider making a donation or learn about packing a shoebox online at samaritanspurse.org.  Our boxes will be dedicated and prayed over on November 22.

Monetary donations are requested by November 15. Filled boxes are due November 22.

Please support Operation Christmas Child as we strive to send the Gospel to the ends of the earth. Your prayer partnership, shoebox packing, and financial donations make it possible to share the Gospel with more boys and girls around the world through Operation Christmas Child.
