ABOUT THE FOOD BUS MISSION

The SBC Food Bus Mission is a mission project to feed those in need in our community while taking the gospel to them. Proverbs 19:17 says, “Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed.” Throughout the week, our church office regularly has people stopping in, asking for food and help for their family. While we do provide help in this way, we believe it would be an even more powerful statement about the love of Jesus for us to collect food and take it to those in need, instead of them only coming to us! This is the heart of the food bus mission.
